What does

“certification according to. ISO 17024 ” mean?

ISO 17024 regulates how certification bodies must carry out personal certifications. Personal certificates are competency certificates issued by an independent certification body. Certificates are, according to ISO, independent proof of conformity. In terms of BIM, this means that you are capable of BIM models acc. ÖNORM A 6241-1 and ÖNORM A 6241-2 to plan and implement.

BIM ABC

The specialist vocabulary
Understand BIM

BIM is the method that supports, updates, and advises the tools
(hardware, software) and consultant services from the initiation
to the end of the lifecycle of buildings modeling, information
flow, and documentation, such as CAD 3D Model, Construction,
Costs, and Life Cycle Operations management as essential
node work of the realization represents.

3.1.7

Building Information Modeling
(BIM Level 3, iBIM)

fully integrated, collaborative process of modeling a virtual building model in accordance with the lifecycle data maintenance execution, in a common, centralized data model incorporating factual data for further information, described as additional dimensions

3.1.6

Building Information Modeling
(BIM Level 2)

Method for creating, maintaining, and networking a cross-trade (integral) virtual CAD model, starting with the first building sketch ending with the demolition of the building

3.1.10

CAD MODEL

two- or three-dimensional digital representation of a structure, its components and the infrastructural environment, consisting of graphical and alphanumeric data
